Anxiety: a feeling of worry, nervousness, or unease, typically about an imminent event or something with an uncertain outcome.
It’s frightening, not knowing where you’ll end up. You can’t always predict obstacles and impediments. It’s overwhelming knowing that you don’t have complete control over everything around you.
But this is where we must adjust our gaze. To focus on what we can control.
Which is ourselves.
Our mindset.
Our outlook.
Our ability to act.
To adapt.
To overcome.
Anxiety may be a sign of fear, but it should also be a sign of opportunity.
So take a deep breath, step up to the ball and swing, because who knows. Your ball may just land on the green (Unlike mine, which usually goes about 4 miles to the left).
